Relief from Morning Motion Altitude Sickness Symptoms Compared Compared to all the products offered for the treatment of nausea and vomiting, BioBands are: Drug-Free, Inexpensive, Adjustable, Durable, and Proven Effective.
There are 3 different categories of treatment for the relief of nausea and vomiting:
1) Drugs and Medications
Compared to Drugs and Medications, BioBands are a natural, inexpensive, non-pharmaceutical alternative that has no side-effects. Anti-nausea drugs, like the motion sickness patch, require a doctor’s prescription, have many side-effects (including drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision), and are not recommended for pregnant women or those with cardiac problems.
2) Herbal Remedies/Supplements
Compared to Herbal Supplements such as ginger, BioBands does not to be ingested. There are no pills, capsules, measuring, or repeated doses.
Also, ginger and other herbal cures (passed down through folk lore) are not clinically proven to be effective in relieving nausea. Very few controlled studies have been done using ginger, and they have shown conflicting and inconclusive results.
But there are dozens of clinical studies that show the effectiveness of acupressure from using a BioBand wristband according to instructions.
3) Acupressure Wristbands
Compared to Other Acupressure Wristbands, a BioBand is simpler (because you need only one band), adjustable, and more durable.
Other “elastic band” wristbands are cheaply constructed, wear down quickly, and cannot be adjusted to provide precise pressure to different size wrists. They can often be too tight or become too loose.
By using a hook and loop fastener similar to Velcro, BioBands can be adjusted to provide the correct amount of pressure to any size wrist. And a BioBand is double-lined with a sewn-in pressure bead that will not irritate your wrist like other bands. |
